Happy Wednesday! Welcome to another challenge from Tellen's Place. First of all, I want to say thank you to those who participated in last week's blog hop and for your sweet comments! Wasn't that blog hop fun? There is more to come so stay tuned. :)
On to this week's challenge. This week's challenge is to create something using the sketch below:
This sketch is one of the sketch's Terry has in her wonderful card kits. You may interpret the sketch any way you like. Just be sure to incorporate all of the elements in the sketch.
To participate and be entered in the drawing for images, you must use a Tellen's Design image. If you don't have one, there is a freebie available this week that you can grab from the challenge blog. Be sure to link your entry to Mr. Linky in the challenge blog. While you are at the challenge blog, be sure to stop by the store to see the latest images, card kits, and album kits available for purchase.
Here is my card using the sketch:
I really love making easel cards. The sketch was perfect for the easel card. If you have never made one before, Splitcoast Stampers has a wonderful tutorial on how to make one. Click here for the tutorial.
Pink and green cardstock is from Bazzil. The designer paper is from Three Bugs In A Rug. The green ribbon is from May Arts. I used my Martha Stewart punch for the border. Button is from Basic Grey. Pink twine is from May Arts. Pearls are from my stash. Sentiment is from Hero Arts.
I cut Jessica, using my Nestabilities petite small oval die cut. Background was cut, using the Nestabilities petitie small oval scallop die cut.
Jessica was colored using the following Copic colors:
E00, R20, Y15, Y17, RV32, RV34, RV02, B23, E35, E39, W1
Thanks for stopping by and have a good week!
Hugs,

This is a beautiful easel card, Alicia. I love the scalloped oval layer beneath the image. That shadow effect is great - must learn that technique! I love the ribbon - that green is just awesome - great colors!
