This week's Penny Black Saturday Challenge was to follow a simple recipe: 3 ribbons, 2 flowers, and 1 pin or charm.
I don't own any charms, so I went over to my nearest Michaels and got some. I should use them more often; they are a great embellishment! I am more of a brad type of person, but charms are now becoming my favorite embellishment as well.
Below is my entry for the week:

OK I didn't follow the recipe entirely. I did use 4 flowers instead of 2. The flowers were from Prima Flowers. The cardstock is from Worldwin Colormates Dark Spring Green. The background paper is from My Mind's Eye Bloom and Glow (double-sided). The stamps are from the "Toadily" collection. I used Copic Markers E35 and YG63 to color the toad and guitar. I used my Nesties small oval and scallop and small circle and scallop. I used my Sakura glitter pen to do the dot detail in the circle and oval scallops. The ric rak ribbon is from American Crafts. The orange/white ribbon is from my stash. The flower charm is from Making Memories.
Thanks for stopping by!
