Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Week 54 - Embossing

This week's Penny Black Saturday Challenge is about embossing! So excited to use my Cuttlebug again! Love it, especially since I can use it for the Spellbinders Nesties! Also, the colors I used for the card were also the colors that were part of the Copic Colour Challenge. So yes I decided to kill two birds with one stone again. :)

Here is my entry:

I am taking a break from the critters for this week and decided to do a card in dedication of Father's Day. I used the Penny Black Dash stamp. I used BG05 (holiday blue) for the pants with a little of the colorless blender. For the jacket, I used YG63 (pea green) for the jacket and R37 (carmine) for the stripes on the shirt. I used E35 (charmois) for the belt and shoes. Dash's face was colored with E00 (skin white) with some RV32 (shadow pink) for the cheeks. Dash's hair was a mix of Y15 and Y17 (golden yellow). I used Memento dark cocoa to add some distress on the edge of the paper. Marvy Uchida's corner rounder was used to round the corners.

I forgot the company that has the gold cardstock - loved it, bought it and ran out of the store without checking the company name. :) The embossing is from Cuttlebug's traffic jam design. I used My Mind's Eye Free Bird My Friend paper for the red strip with buttons from Fancy Pants Summer Soiree.

Thanks for stopping by!
