This week's Penny Black Saturday Challenge is a great one! Using a sketch template and make something out of it. I was running into a rut on a new design for a card and this challenge was perfect.
It also gave me the opportunity to go out and get the Spellbinders Nestabilities petite oval and oval scallop shapes which I have been dying to get. Here is my entry:
The paper is from the Amuse collection called Madeira Red. I used the Penny Black Bubbly Transparent stamps for the sentiment and image. The critter colors are Copic markers W1 (warm gray), R37 (canine red), and RV13 (tender pink). I also got the new At You Spica pens chocolate and blossom to accent the cork and also used the Spica gold pen. The flowers were from the Making Memories Mixed Blossom set, which I am almost out of!
