Bright, bold and distressing!

Hehehe...trying to come up with titles for my blogs lately has been opening up my creative side a little more...

What can you guess I am creating for this week? Something bright, bold with a dash of something distressed!

I am combining challenges again for La-La Land Crafts and Copic Colour Challenge. Below are this week's to use for the challenge:

I don't have R29 so I am using R35 instead.

Here is my entry for this week:

Here is Rosie with her cute cat. She was colored with the challenge colors plus E33,E00, YG63 and E57. The cat was colored with C5 with the colorless blender and RV02.

The cardstock is from Worldwin Colormates (Dark Spring Green). The background paper is from Bo Bunny. The eyelets are from my old stash of eyelets. The cream colored adhesive ribbon is from Creative Imaginations.

For the first time, I am using Tim Holtz's products, which I have had for awhile but was afraid to use them. It wasn't until Jane Matsumoto (DT Coordinator for La-La Land Crafts) had a tutorial on how to use Tim Holtz's products that I wanted to give it a shot. Check out her tutorial here on her creation of a bookmark using Tim's products. Thanks Jane for the wonderful tutorial!

I used Tim Holtz's tea dye distress ink for the edges of the cardstock, background paper and background for Rosie and the cat. I used one of Tim's floret masks, using the tea dye ink and added some of his foliage.

Now to play around more with Tim's products. :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,
